Finca Valley · Sóller · 12 August 2026

The horizon is the experience. The finca is your private base.

Finca Valley was selected around the low western horizon required for Mallorca’s evening eclipse. Guests arrive earlier, settle into a private Mediterranean setting and remain in one place with shade, bathroom access, food, drinks and hosted coordination through totality.

Why this valley

Open sky, olive terraces and a slower afternoon.

This is not presented as accommodation. It is an Eclipse Day setting designed around visibility, comfort and the practical realities of movement in the Serra de Tramuntana.

The mountain viewpoint and sea-facing horizon provide the astronomical context. The finca provides the human context: a place to arrive early, eat, rest and share the anticipation without relocating during the most sensitive traffic period.

Official mobility context

Arrive earlier. Stay longer. Enjoy the day.

The Government of the Balearic Islands has announced traffic controls and restrictions affecting access to the Serra de Tramuntana on 12 August, generally between 15:00 and 21:00 and potentially earlier if safety conditions require it. In this context, a short rural viewing stop is no longer a practical way to spend Eclipse Day.

Finca Valley is designed as one private base for the full eclipse day with a house, shade, bathroom access, food and drinks. Guests can arrive earlier, settle in and remain comfortably in one place through totality instead of moving during the most sensitive traffic period and the heat of an August afternoon.

We coordinate each confirmed or prospective reservation around accommodation, group size and mobility needs. No private reservation overrides instructions from the authorities, and guests receive updated arrival guidance based on the latest official information.

FAQ

Why is Finca Valley designed as a single-day experience?
The official mobility measures make short rural viewing stops impractical. We are concentrating on a Finca Valley base where guests can arrive earlier and have shade, bathroom access, refreshments and a comfortable place through totality.
How may the mobility measures affect visitors?
The Government has announced controls and restrictions affecting Serra de Tramuntana access, generally between 15:00 and 21:00 and potentially earlier if required. No private organiser can override official controls, so we prepare an earlier arrival plan based on where each group is staying.
When should we arrive?
Earlier than for a normal evening event. The appropriate time depends on your accommodation and selected experience. Confirmed guests receive tailored arrival guidance so they can settle in before the most sensitive traffic period.
How can we check eclipse visibility?
Settings are selected for the low western horizon. The Horitzó Eclipsi 2026 visualiser can also assess whether the maximum eclipse is visible from a specific point. Weather cannot be guaranteed.
Are you accepting new reservations?
We are first managing confirmed bookings, paid deposits and existing serious enquiries. New requests are considered according to Finca Valley’s remaining capacity and the group’s logistical fit.
How does booking work?
Send a WhatsApp request. We confirm the suitable option and logistics, then send a secure payment link for the deposit.
